Une perle rare Découverte fortuite au bon moment. La meilleure soupe maison que j’ai mangé depuis longtemps avec un bon petit pain chaud pour l’accompagner. Un magnifique sandwich cubain pour mon chum. Nous n’en pouvions plus des hamburgers et des ailes de poulet. Magnifique café latté pour accompagner le tout. Nous avons même eu droit à un dessert surprise commandé pour nous par deux charmantes et gentilles dames du coins. Expérience hors du commun. Bel endroit propre.

Busy Place - Great Food I had heard the Tupper Lake was doing a lot of work revitalizing the downtown and that there were some new shops and eateries here worth checking out. My wife and I came for a day and explored the shops and area and had a great time - well worth checking out. Based on a friend's recommendation, we stopped here for lunch. The place is very cool - it has some things like jams and pickles and such for sale, as well as some different types of sodas and a huge deli that does cold and hot food. They also have a nice little bar, with craft beers available. The menu is not huge, but has a lot of tasty looking items. They do breakfast as well, but we came for lunch. I ordered the Turkey Club on Pumpernickel/Rye marbled bread - the flavor was outstanding... fresh sliced peppered turkey with cheese and roasted red peppers and bacon on a marbled toast. Not really the 'standard' club as it only had two pieces of bread but this thing was packed with flavor. I had a side of onion rings, which were very nicely cooked. The wife ordered the Gyro, which was 'ok'.. the meat reminded me of a Steak-um and it was loaded into a flatbread/pita bread with very nice tzatziki, cucumbers and tomatoes. I don't think the meat and bread on this were locally and freshly made, like the club sandwich seemed to be. Regardless, we were very impressed with the options, the flavors, the decor (especially the old tin ceiling panels). They were playing some jazz music in the background as well. Service is slow around lunchtime and with a line to the door, it seemed like only two people were working in the front, and juggling the coffee options (full coffee bar), making cold sandwiches, taking orders, and bringing them out. My recommendations are to be patient (enjoy the nice views) and order something made fresh and local. Highly recommended!

Great lunch place - but don't be in a hurry Burgers, sandwiches and salads, made to order (so it does take time, even if it's not too busy). They do have breakfast items, but we were there at lunchtime. Craft sodas and beers, local wines. I had the turkey club panini with fries, my wife had the Greek salad. Everything was very good. If we're ever in Tupper Lake again, we would definitely return here. After the bust that was the Wild Center, this place redeemed Tupper Lake for us!

Awesome!! Stopped for breakfast on our way out of Lake Placid and discovered Well Dressed Food by accident…..what a pleasant surprise!! Our breakfast was amazing and the coffee was delicious! The young lady and gentleman working there were so accommodating and friendly! The lunch menu also looked fantastic….next trip we will stop for lunch!!

Busy place but excellent food and service We tried The Hub first. The only thing available on Tuesday at noon was a half empty buffet table which looked like it was leftovers from breakfast. We drove down the road and tried Well Dressed Food. It's a small place with limited seating and a small counter. Although it was very busy, the young men behind the counter did everything they could to keep up with the orders. Our cheeseburgers were done perfectly. The best onion rings I've had in years! I left a big tip as the guys truly earned every penny they made that day.

Cute little neighborhood cafe. Stopped by for lunch and had a fried cod sandwich. The sandwich was done well. Nice balance of red onions and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce was different, but I couldn't place it. It worked well with the sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich and fried chicken sandwiches were both reported to be delicious. Very few crumbs remaining. They had homemade ciabatta buns which looked fantastic. There's a variety of things from fresh breads and cookies to Maine sauces. Staff is friendly.

YUM!!! What a great stop on our journey. The sandwiches were all incredible. The chips were tasty. The pickles were fresh. The coffee was smooth. The brussel sprouts were amazing! The coleslaw was crunchy. The broccoli salad was so good. (Not too creamy or overdressed - all too common!) Our only thought was that the teen taking our order wasn't able to answer any of our questions. 🙁 I loved it!!

Extremely accommodating staff, great service, great sandwiches, not pretentious. Just a nice family atmosphere. Unfortunately we live 1 hour north , if I was closer I'd be there more often!
