Turkey Croissants with Sweet Onion Jam

Well Dressed Food Turkey Croissants Sweet Onion Jam

Croissants by themselves are amazing. This simple recipe brings them up a notch. We mix the smooth, creamy texture of fresh avacados with turkey and bacon. Our Sweet Onion Jam ties it all together. Enjoy!

Ingredients
4 large croissants
¾ pound shaved turkey breast
8 strips smoked bacon, fried crisp
2 ripe Haas avocados
1 jar Sweet Onion Jam
Mayonnaise

Instructions
Slice croissants in half. Spread two tablespoons of Sweet Onion Jam on the bottom half of each croissant. Divide turkey breast into fourths and place over jam. Place two bacon strips on each sandwich. Peel, core and slice avocado, and place slices on top of the bacon. Spread a light layer of mayonnaise on the top croissant, place on top of avocado slices and serve.

A 2010 NASFT sofi Award Winner, this jam is a magical combination of the sweet onions that I grew up with in the South and fresh roasted garlic. We use this jam to create our sharp cheddar Sweet Onion Jam Biscuits and spoon it over cream cheese to serve with water crackers. It also makes an amazing marinade and glaze for roasted pork!

I purchased the Sweet Onion Jam back in December and I was looking for the recipe for the Sharp Cheddar Sweet Onion Jam Biscuits but can’t seem to find it.
If possible, could you email the recipe.

    Thank you.

P.S. I purchased a bunch of the pancake mix for breakfast baskets that I made for Christmas baskets - they were a hit. On my next trip to Tupper I will be sure to stop by.
